Purpose and Recommended Action
Recommendation
This is a request for City Council to waive reading beyond the title and adopt an ordinance accepting three water line easements at 6620 North 95th Avenue.
Background
The developer of the new Home2 Suites hotel, located at 6620 North 95th Avenue, is constructing new public water lines that will meet the domestic water demands and fire protection requirements of the City Code for this development. The developer, Glendale Westgate Lodging Investors III, LLC, is granting the city three easements to allow the city to access, maintain, operate and repair the new water lines consistent with City Code.
Analysis
Staff recommends acceptance of the three water line easements. There will be no impact on city departments, staff or service levels as a result of this action. There are no costs incurred to the city for this action.
