Purpose and Recommended Action
Recommendation

This is a request for City Council to proclaim the week of May 1 to May 7, 2016 Municipal Clerks Week.

Ms. Pamela Hanna, Glendale City Clerk since 1994, will accept the proclamation.

Additionally, the Clerk's office also carries out the following duties:
* Posts meeting minutes and agendas
* Conducts city elections
* Responds to public records requests
* Records city deeds and easements
* Processes legal notices for publication
* Supervises the codification, supplement and distribution of the city code book
* Supervises the records management program, which includes the circulation, recording, storing, and mic...
